5 Unimportant Things About Me...

Bekah tagged me maybe a week or so ago. Here's the rules: link back to the person who tagged you (but I don't know how to do that so just go to Bekah's blog), post these rules on your blog, share five unimportant things about yourself and tag three people at the end of your entry. Here we go!

#1. I love to mow the lawn. I've really only ever mowed my parents lawn but I still love it. They have this great mower that pulls you behind it (watch out sprinklers). I also love the smell of a freshly mowed lawn.

#2. I love the fabric tricot. It's the silky fabric, you can make slips out of it. My aunt made me a blanket when I was born and I still have the desire to sleep with it.

#3. Every Saturday night 106.5 plays show tunes. I love to listen to them every week and sing along. It's pretty fun to try and guess the show they are from before they tell you.

#4. I have curly hair. I really like it but I keep trying to find products that will help with the frizzyness and to help form the perfect curl.

#5. I hate mushrooms! I won't eat them! I don't even like the smell of them.

(these are unimportant but actually really important :)

I tag Michelle, Sara Anne, and Barbara.

BRUISES

So...I like bruises. A lot. I don't like the getting of a bruise but I like the discoloration of the skin that goes with it. I've liked them for a long time. Here's a couple of the latest and greatest. The first one happened when I hit the car door corner with the back of my hand. It hurt but I like it a lot b/c I can see it so easily :) You may not be able to see it very well, but it's cool. The second one, on my ankle bone, I'm not sure how it happened and I forget about it sometimes but it's still great. Here's to all the great summer bruises coming up!!!

Dont' Mess With TEXAS

For those of you who don't know, Anth and I are spending the summer in Corpus Christi, TX. I know, not the most glamorous place to be in the summer (90 degree weather with 60-80 % humidity). We're here because Anth has an internship. Anth has been here since the beginning of May and I came down the end of May (I had to finish up school). Since we're only going to be here until the middle of August I'm not getting a job. It's a bit weird. But I plan on being our travel agent, chef, grocery shopper, laundry and house maid, getting back into shape, reading, sewing, and lounging at the pool to work on my Chaco tan. It should be a great summer. (If anyone has book recommendations please send them my way:)

Thus far we have been to the beach, tried some fish, gone on some great walks, and met some nice/interesting people.

This is our apartment. We found it online and really like it. We only have a blowup bed, card table and 4 chairs. It's nice! The first night we got there they gave us a free pizza, very nice people :)
